House rules

Troefcall is a card game. At a table you sometimes sit with people you do not know. These rules hold for everyone who plays, and by joining in you agree to them.

What is not allowed

• A name that does not belong. No swearing, nothing sexual, nothing racist or hateful, and no pretending to be the admins. The app already stops most of it while you type.
• A photo that does not belong. No nudity, no violence or weapons, nothing that spreads hate, no advertising and no photo of someone else. A computer checks every photo before others see it, and an admin looks at anything in doubt.
• Bothering other people. Bullying, threatening, or making the game impossible for someone at the table.
• Ruining it on purpose. Cheating, walking out of a game in progress on purpose, or disrupting a tournament.
• Pretending to be someone else.

There is no warning system for this. Anyone who breaks these rules loses access to playing with others, and for something serious that is immediate and permanent.

What you can do yourself

• Report. There is a shield with an exclamation mark at the top left of the table. Pick who it is about, say why, done. You do not have to wait until the game is over, and it works while you are only watching too.
• Block. Reporting blocks the other person at once: the two of you will not end up at the same table again. Under Profile you see who you blocked, and that is where you undo it. This is the one thing that asks for an account: without a number on both sides there is no telling anyone apart.

What we do

• Every report is looked at within 24 hours.
• If it holds up, what was reported comes down and the person who reported it did not lose a fellow player for nothing: that player is out for the time being.
• You are not told as a matter of course what happened to your report. What we do with someone else is not your business, and the same holds the other way round.
